Bacon Sirloin Bites - 2018 Picnic
Recipe by Sally Anne Jindra, paired with the 2016 Old Vines Heritage
1 package bacon
1-2 pounds sirloin beef steak
Long toothpicks soaked in water for at least 4 hours/p>
Preheat oven to 350°. Cut bite-sized pieces of the sirloin steak. Wrap uncooked bacon around each, then pierce with a toothpick. Wrap the bacon tightly! Put on a hot grill or hot pan to sear all sides of the bite. Once seared, brush bites with your favorite BBQ sauce. Place on sheet tray and bake about 5 minutes.
