Beef and Bacon Bites
A delicious dish served with the Old Vines Heritage or Reserve Cabernet.
1 lb ground beef
1 C bacon, cooked & finely chopped
2 t Italian seasoning (if using fresh herbs, double amount)
1 egg, beaten
1 C bread crumbs
1 t salt
1 t pepper
Preheat oven to 400°. Combine all ingredients in bowl. Using palms of hands, roll into desired meatball size (keep in mind meat will slightly shrink after cooking). Place on foiled sheet tray and bake for 12-15 minutes.
